The Wave Chair is a playful exploration of movement, mood, and form, inspired by the natural rhythm of flowing waves and the expressive spirit of funky post-modern furniture. The design reimagines the familiar structure of contemporary seating, introducing a dynamic and uplifting presence while maintaining ergonomic comfort and everyday usability.
1:6 scale model
Utilizing laser cutting in a small scale and an extruded single shape to achieve a flowing curve that would be hard to do out of most materials. Constructed with Fenix Laminate sheets in Verde Comodoro and Grigio Aragona, the seat and back emphasize a clean, modern palette, while the Formica Natural Lava Chrome base provides structural stability and visual contrast.
